The Tego connector is the world’s first and only needleless connector approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in hemodialysis applications.
It was developed in part to minimize the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs). This product is also suitable for performing apheresis treatments. In addition, the saline flush option makes it possible to minimise heparin use.
